Lisa Scottoline : Best Selling Author Portraits

Lisa Scottoline is an American author of legal thrillers. She was born in Philadelphia, worked as a lawyer and has gone on to write 30 bestselling novels. Lisa's latest book "Someone Knows" has been listed as the Top Fiction Pick for April by Barnes and Noble, Mystery and Thriller Best Book of The Month by Amazon and Must-Listen Audio book for April by Apple Books.

We had the opportunity to collaborate with Lisa and her team to create a library of all new portrait photographs that would be used for her website, book promotion and other marketing campaigns. The direction for the Philadelphia area photo shoot was to capture classic, beautiful portraits of Lisa Scottoline on her farm in Pennsylvania.

I had my friend Gene help me out with the pre-shoot scout day in late summer. After scouting the 40+ acre property, horse barns, farm home and guest house we had a lot of great options to show Lisa and her team. The first 5 photos below are shot from the scout day.

The shoot day occurred on a cool autumn day in October. I had Ian Crammer and Konnor Durante as Lighting Assistants, Rich Meyers for Digital Tech, and Erin Spier as Makeup and general groomer.
