Industrial photography of people, facilities and operations throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond. I photograph manufacturing, logistics and other working environments for websites, marketing campaigns, annual reports and corporate communications.

People, Process & Place


Industrial assignments can move from production floors and warehouses to equipment, operations and environmental portraits—all within the same shoot. I work around active operations to create a varied library of photography while keeping things organized and efficient.


Some shoots are fast-moving and documentary, while others require more lighting, direction and production. The approach depends on the facility, the people and the needs of the assignment.

Assignments can include employees at work, manufacturing processes, machinery, facilities, warehouses, logistics, environmental portraits and other details of the operation. We can work from an established shot list or develop one together before the shoot.

In many cases, photography takes place during normal operations. I work with your team to plan around production schedules, restricted areas and other site requirements so we can capture the work without creating unnecessary disruption.

How do you handle safety requirements in industrial environments?

Site-specific requirements are discussed during pre-production so I can plan appropriately for restricted areas, PPE and other safety considerations. For more complex assignments, a walkthrough or location scout can also be scheduled in advance.

Can you photograph employees and executive portraits during the same shoot?

Employee and executive portraits can often be incorporated into an industrial assignment, either within the working environment or with a separate lighting and background setup. Depending on the number of employees and the amount of workplace photography needed, the assignment may require multiple shoot days. I can help plan the schedule around production, employee availability and the overall scope of the shoot.
